Commission Works: Past and Present - Weddings
Recently I have been approached by two different married couples about creating them paintings celebrating their marriages. One couple wanted me to recreate a wedding photo for them for their anniversary. The other couple asked me to recreate the moment of the proposal, and the final painting was going to be displayed during the wedding ceremony at The Wente Estate Vineyards. Needless to say, there was a lot of pressure in having to recreate and recapture each moment for both couples.
Final Piece. "Ted and Emma" Being shown during the wedding ceremony, in the background.
36" x 48" Framed and ready to hang. The gloss or shimmer is caused by the reflection off of the apoxy ressin finish. It gives the painting a glass/glossy finish.

30" x 40" "Ronny + Wendy"
Clients gave me a wedding photo and allowed me to recreate it using my style and color pallet.
Commission Works: Past and Present - TUESDAY MOURNING
The 2nd piece of this two part commissioned painting was very different than anything I had ever done. My client wanted me to paint Mr. Monopoly in a "Picasso" style. On top of that he wanted the background to look like old news paper. This painting was a challenge for me but both my client and I were extremely happy with how it turned out.
Finished Piece. "Tuesday Mourning"
I applied a gloss finishing varnish on the final piece.
Working out and trying to adapt the "Picasso" style and making it my own.

Commission Works: Past and Present - LE MANS
At the beginning of 2017 a private client of mine the lives in San Francisco approached me about producing 2 very different paintings for him. He had a very specific and detailed idea for each painting. He wanted to incorporate two very iconic figures with two very iconic painting styles.
For the first piece (LE MANS) he wanted me to use a photo of the actor, Steve McQueen, while he was racing at Le Mans. He also wanted me to use the iconic Goyard style for the background. He was very specific in those two areas but after that he let me do my thing.
Finished Piece. "LE MANS"
I applied an apoxy ressin to the finished piece to really bring it together.

Commission Works: Past and Present - GRACE
A private client of mine reached out to me and asked me if I could make my own rendition/portrait of the iconic actress Grace Kelly. She wanted me to use my older color pallet and style, based on an older painting of mine that she owns (LOVE TRIANGLE).
