Hubris lives in the space between ambition and isolation, elegance and collapse. Built through fractured geometry and sharp contrast, the figure feels monumental and hollow at the same time: a man dressed in authority, suspended in silence, outlined only by traces of red that refuse to disappear.
The composition pulls from cinematic noir, modernist portraiture, and mural-scale minimalism to create a piece that feels both intimate and confrontational. It’s less about vanity than the quiet danger of believing your own myth for too long.
Part of a limited release revisiting key visual themes from earlier works while pushing toward a sharper, more restrained visual language.
